    • What is virtual hosting?
    Virtual Hosting is an option that allows a company or individual to lease part of a server to store their website's data, rather than pay for an entire machine with more space than they need. As part of our virtual hosting we provide a dedicated IP address as opposed to a shared IP.

    What are FrontPage extensions and do you support them?
    If you are using FrontPage to design and build your web site you will need your web host to have FrontPage extensions installed on their server. All of our hosting packages support FrontPage 98 and 2000.

    Can I access my domain address without the "www"?
    Yes, you can access your domain address with or without the "www" in front of the domain name. The "www" is a tertiary domain name that isn't necessary if your nameserver is set up properly.

    Do you offer SSL encryption for transferring credit card information?
    YES! The servers we use is equipped with the latest SSL technology so your customers can safely order your products or services online! Normally, any text sent from your browser is sent as plain text. This means that a hacker could potentially intercept the information sent from your browser and read it.

    By using the secure server (SSL), the information is encrypted before it is sent. You DO NOT have to buy a security certificate to enable the secure server - you can use ours FREE of charge. We will provide you with the name of the server when your account is activated!

    Can I upload pages frequently?
    Each account comes with an FTP/Telnet account. You have full access to your space via FTP 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    How long does it take to set up my account?
    Your account will usually be set up within 20 minutes, but no longer then 24 hours from the time you signed up.

    What is a cgi-bin and how do I get one?
    A CGI-bin is where you store CGI scripts. These scripts; are used to generate online order forms, guestbooks, shopping carts, counters, and more. All our hosting packages include their own CGI-bin.
